Abstract

This work, which deals with thirty years of the project and construction of the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City, uses a methodology recognizable in the author, Azuela de la Cueva, as she has shown throughout the whole of her work dedicated to various topics that link art and political power. Azuela has maintained her interest in the combination of artistic and documentary elements from diverse archives and aesthetic appreciation in relation to the great places of memory and symbols of Mexican modernity.
